This Ojingo Labs Web Site may use cookies and may record certain non-personal information from users to help a Site be more useful, including but not limited to, the user name, what type of software the user is using to browse the Internet, the Uniform Resource Locator (URL or web address) that the user visited before and after the Ojingo Labs Web Site, the user's IP address and the user's Internet service provider.
Personal Information.
An Ojingo Labs Site may allow for the collection of personal information from a user, including the user's name, e-mail address, home or mailing address, telephone number, and birth date (Personal Information). The submission of Personal Information is voluntary. By providing Personal Information, the user consents to the collection and use of such by Ojingo Labs and its affiliates for the purposes for which the information was given and as stated in this Policy. See the special provisions below that also apply to minors users (users 13 to 17 years of age) and children (users under the age of 13).
HOW WE USE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Use of Personal Information. Ojingo Labs and its affiliates use Personal Information for internal business purposes, to communicate to the user (and in the event of a user is under the age of 18, the user's parent or legal guardian) and to communicate to those persons authorized by the user. For example, we may send you notifications about your accounts, about communications from other users, and/or request your feedback on a Site. We may also send you newsletters or notify you of new products and services from either affiliated or unaffiliated companies we believe that you might find beneficial.
Personal Information will not be traded, licensed, sold or used for external purposes except as authorized by the user (or if the user is a minor, the user's parent or legal guardian).
Notwithstanding this policy, electronic communications have inherent risks to privacy and security. We recommend that you NOT post or transmit any information to or through a Site that you want to keep absolutely private!
If your Personal Information is to be disclosed to a third party or used for a purpose other than its original purpose or the purpose authorized subsequently by you, we will provide you an affirmative or explicit (opt in) choice for the disclosure. We will require that any such third party enter into a written agreement requiring that the third party provide at least the same level of privacy protection as is required by the relevant principles in this Privacy Policy.
We may disclose your Personal Information (in confidence) to a prospect new owner of a Site or transfer your Personal Information to a new owner of a Site without additional prior notice to you or consent, so long as the continued use of the Personal Information is not incompatible with the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by you. For Minor Users (users 13 to 17 years of age)
Personal Information provided by minor users is collected only during the registration process for contests, product purchases or during the submission of questions or comments to Ojingo Labs. When submitting Personal Information through a Site, minor users are required to provide the e-mail address of a parent or guardian. Ojingo Labs will send a message to the parent or guardian identifying the information supplied by the minor user and allowing the parent or guardian to be aware of and participate in the minor user's online experience. Personal Information of minor users may be used for marketing and promotional purposes by Ojingo Labs.
For Children (users under 13 years of age)
Ojingo Labs encourages parents and legal guardians to visit the Ojingo Labs Site with their child or children who are under 13 years of age. No child under the age of 13 should submit Personal Information to Ojingo Labs or any of its affiliate Sites without the prior consent of their parent or legal guardian.
It is the practice of Ojingo Labs to comply fully with The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) governing the collection, use and disclosure of personal information from children under the age of 13 (a Child or Children). Pursuant to COPPA:
Before collecting, using or disclosing a Child's Personal Information, Ojingo Labs will obtain verifiable consent of the parent or legal guardian. Therefore, a Child or the Child's parent or legal guardian must provide Ojingo Labs with the e-mail address of the parent or legal guardian. Ojingo Labs will send a message to the given e-mail address to obtain the parent or legal guardian's consent to the collection and use of a Child's Personal Information coupled with some additional step (such as a sending a delayed confirming e-mail) to provide assurance that the person providing the consent is the parent or legal guardian.
The parent or legal guardian has the option to agree to the collection and use of a Child's Personal Information without consenting to the disclosure of the Personal Information to third parties.
The parent or legal guardian can, at any time, review the Child's Personal Information, ask to have it corrected or deleted and refuse to allow any further collection or use of the Child's Information. See the procedure under Review/Correction/Removal of Personal Information above.
COPPA prohibits the conditioning of a Child's participation in any activity on the Child's disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary.
No Personal Information collected from a Child is used by Ojingo Labs for any marketing or promotional purposes whatsoever. In the case of games, contests or promotions, a Child's Personal Information is used with the parent or guardian's verified consent only for the specific game, contest or promotion, unless deleted by the request of the parent or legal guardian. The Child's Personal Information is not retained after the conclusion of the contest or promotion except as required by law for record retention purposes. If a Child is selected as a winner in a contest, notification will be sent only to the given parent or guardian's e-mail address. If a Child submits a question or comment, the Child will be responded to only once with a copy to the given parent or guardian's e-mail address.
HOW TO MANAGE YOUR INFORMATION
Review/Correction/Removal of Personal Information Opt Out. A user (or the user's parent or legal guardian) may review, correct and/or delete Personal Information through online account settings (as made available) or by e-mailing a request to remove@ojingolabs.com As Site settings and account settings permit, users may also control the viewing of user account profiles, Personal Information and transmission of public or private messages to persons as authorized by the user on the Site.
Users may also opt out of receiving communications from Ojingo Labs or other users, for example, new offers, contests or products, by advising us by using site settings (as made available) or by e-mail request to remove@ojingolabs.com
HOW WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SECURE
Security. User accounts containing Personal Information reside on a secure server that is located behind a hardware firewall. We use standard industry security measures to protect the information we store on our servers from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. If you have registered with one of our Sites, your user account is protected by a password of your choosing. We believe that these measures are adequate. However, and despite these measures, it is impossible for us to guarantee absolute security. We rely on the username and password you supply to confirm access to your account.
